Fall is a beautiful time of year. I love the fact that I live in New Jersey and get to enjoy all four seasons. I like them all-each in their own way. This time of year I like to decorate my home for fall. Warm colors and seasonal accessories, nuts and fruits they all appear around my home. Years ago I got this turkey and it's still one of my favorite decor accents. It re-appears every year. I like pears. I have a thing for pears. You can find all different size and color pears around my home year round. I also like bringing natural elements from outside and embellishing my living space with branches, leaves, acorns and pine cones. Each year during our walks in the park, my daughter and I collect autumn levees and then bring them home and press them in our Van Gogh book. We also make craft activities with them. I also love candles and especially when the weather turns cold and grey I like to cozy up with a blanket, light some candles and read a good book. As you can see below I have pear shaped candles. And of course, when the days get shorter and the temperature drops down, we spend more time indoors we tend to do a lot baking and cooking. I made these pastries yesterday and the aroma lingered for a few hours-warm and inviting. In fact, this week I stocked up on extra baking supplies. Fall! What's not to love?
